The priority of this Commission is to bring film production to this county and help it run as smoothly as possible. The Film Commissioner serves as liaison between your production and the community.

The Film Commissioner can assist productions in a number of ways, starting with preliminary location scouting. The Commissioner will also take productions through the permit process and can help secure local services such as lodging, and connect your production with local film professionals, primarily through use of the Production Services Guide.

Familiarization tours occur in both the spring and fall, giving location professionals an opportunity to see the wide variety of terrain and physical assets of Tuolumne County over three long and intense days.
